Look at using lighting channels for your lighting issues. You can then adjust many aspects of the lighting in the Nxt image editor without having to rerun the rendering to make changes in the final image.

Just model a sphere to represent the bulb in the shade and tag it as a light source instead. Maintaining the same properties as what you have now.

Thanks for the comments.

I will follow the suggestions.

Improve the materials seems to be easier, but with the lights is for me the most difficult.

Also there is the need to have the light source show in the shade too if you must stand and render this close to the street lamps (lamp post).

You grass and the batch of soil mapping too could improve go to accustudio exchange to download some Nxt materials. Your have to register first and it is free.

Leaves on the tree to the left is distracting. Either not a good enough imagew or to big, I'm not sure which.

The lamp post lights seem to be a little hot as well.

Disappearing Extrusions

When I create a curved counter using a solid top and an extruded front, the extrusions disappear in the rendering. Anything that I have curved that has been extruded is gone in the rendering. Is there something that I am doing wrong here? Thanks in advance.ReggieSee More
