No need to create the time just down and install the capture software. When next you are doing it again record.

Using a screen capture device,  can you record the grass making process again in photoshot?

Hi Marc,

as alway, your grass appear extremly real! As well as the entire image.

What texture do you use for the grass? Have you created a personal one or is it one inside nXt?

Thanks!

Hi, Jorge, thanks. For the grass:  I cut out the part with grass (so I can change the picture, and keep my work on grass) and with the "duplication tool", I take a sharp shape, like a star with a lot of arms, that look a little bit like a grass clump or a sun. You can make your own form, by taking a cutted clump of grass or plant and in pshop, in "edition" menu, you have the option: use as pattern or something like that (mine is in french). So you create a new shape for the duplication tool. With this tool, you have to choose the place where the sample will be taken (be carefull on the scale of the sample), in first with the "alt" key, then you duplicate this sample on the limit of the grass. Be carefull to randomize it and not to be rectilinear. And you will make disappear that digital linearity. I take the sample very close from the place I will apply it, and I modify the size of my tool, to make it bigger as it is closer, and little when it's far. So you have done a new layer with the grass and a good cutted limit. And you can put a new render under this layer.
